Heritage and Environmental Photographer

Authentic storytelling photography that capture the world around us

I have been taking photographs of historic buildings, landscapes and monuments for over 20 years often with a journalistic approach showing the changing landscape and people interacting with the world around them. With an excellent eye for the beautiful and the raw my photographs create a sense of place and the story beyond.

I have worked with organisations, charities and companies in Brighton, London and the South East to support;

  • Grant applications
  • Public awareness campaigns
  • Annual reports
  • Social media campaigns
  • Bespoke in-house libraries
  • Fundraising promotional literature and websites

With my respectful and ethical approach I use natural light to help tell your stories and to create a natural and authentic feel to her images. Where possible I love to spend time in the environment I am photographing to ensure that it’s not simply a snapshot of time , more a moment in our times.

My aim is always to minimise editing after the shoot to keep the photographs as natural and authentic as possible.

For heritage photography I look to reflect the historical context of a building whilst showing it in the here and now, often showing how humans interact with a building, structure or remains to communicate how things evolve to reflect the current uses.

My photographs foster a sense of pride and connection within a community allowing people to engage with and understand more about the world around them.

My clients are wide and varied. See a sample of the clients I have and do work with below.

If you are looking for a passionate heritage or environmental photographer based in Brighton and covering London and the South East please contact me to discuss your requirements.  I will always endeavour to uphold my ethical approach to business throughout my work work.
